This weekend was full of new adventures for Lana. On Thursday night we drove to my parent's place in Oregon. Grandma and Grandpa were very excited to see little Lana and wasted no time giving her hugs and kisses and snuggles. Lana showed off her adorable smiles, her head and back strength and her happy squeals.
On Friday morning we loaded up and went into Pendleton for the Westward Ho Parade. I figured Lana would just sleep through it, and for the most part she did. She won't remember that she went to her first parade at 3 months old, but I will. The parade is always impressive and is one of my favorite parts of the Pendleton Round Up. Here we have the big ol' oxen.
Lana turned exactly 3 months old while we were there. Our girl is getting so big!

I think my mom is the proudest Grandma ever!
And the coolest adventure Lana had was learning how to roll over. She finally did it. This video shows one of her attempts, but she's not quite successful. I promise you though, she did do it, just not for the video camera.

Don't you just love when they start doing something so adorable you don't want to forget it, so you get the video camera out and they refuse to perform any longer =) We've had it happen more times than we can count!
After watching the video again. it looks like she was trying to get away from someones smelly feet...:)
